Every site gets four SEO tools alongside its analytics: rank tracking, backlink monitoring, Core Web Vitals, and content decay detection. Each one writes to the same change timeline as change detection, so ranking moves, lost links, and vitals regressions appear as markers on the traffic chart next to your own edits.

Rank tracking

Tracked keywords are checked daily against Google's top results. Each check records your best organic position and ranking URL, whether an AI Overview shows for the query, whether a featured snippet shows (and whether it is yours), and the top-10 domains on the result page. Significant moves become serp chart markers, capped at the 20 most significant per site per day.

Keyword auto-seeding. If a site has connected Search Console and is under its share of the keyword entitlement, Numative seeds keywords automatically from the last 28 days of real Google queries. Keywords you pin yourself are always checked first. Checks that do not complete in time are recorded as missed for the day and checked again the next day.

Backlinks

A daily scan tracks links pointing at your site and raises new, lost, and regained events (a link that reappears within 7 days of being marked lost is treated as crawl jitter, not a regain). Daily new and lost counts are always exact; the number of individual links itemized per day is capped by plan, highest-authority first: 100 rows on Starter, 1,000 on Growth, 5,000 on Scale (per category, new and lost).

• Link authority is shown as Ahrefs Domain Rating (0 to 100). Wherever DR appears, the required "Domain Rating by Ahrefs" attribution is shown; that attribution is a condition of the data license.
• New or lost links from domains with DR 60 or higher count as notable and can trigger email alerts.
• On first scan, sites with up to 1,000 backlinks get a full baseline snapshot (larger profiles are tracked delta-only), and 12 months of daily new/lost counts are backfilled for the chart.
• Backlink activity appears as sky-blue markers on the traffic chart.

Core Web Vitals

Once a day, Numative records your site's field data from the Chrome UX Report: p75 LCP, INP, and CLS, separately for phone and desktop. Whenever a metric's rating crosses a threshold (good, needs improvement, poor) in either direction, a marker is added to the chart, so a fix is annotated just like a regression.

Content decay

A weekly job compares every page's current trailing 28-day visits against its best 28-day window over roughly the past year (13 consecutive windows). Decay is measured relative to the site's own trajectory over the same interval, so site-wide seasonality cancels out: a page is only flagged when it fell substantially further than the site did.

• Default thresholds: the page must be at least 90 days old, its peak window must have at least 100 visits, and its site-adjusted decline must reach 40% or more. These are server-side defaults, not per-site settings.
• Flagged pages get a Search Console diagnosis where available: did position drop, did search demand shrink, or did CTR fall.
• Refresh outcome tracking. When the crawler later detects a content, title, or meta change on a decaying page, the refresh date is recorded and the effect is measured over the 28 days that follow it, so you learn whether the rewrite actually worked. Pages that recover on their own are marked recovered too.

Plan limits at a glance

The 14-day trial runs rank tracking and backlinks at Starter depth. Rank checks and backlink scans query external data providers, so they run against metered monthly budgets; if a budget is exhausted, checks pause until the next month.
