Terms of Service

These terms are a contract between you and Numative ("Numative", "we", "us"), operated from Illinois, United States. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you use Numative on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company, and "you" means the company.

Numative provides website analytics and related tooling: a cookieless tracking script, Google Analytics and Search Console connections, change detection and attribution, rank tracking, backlink monitoring, Core Web Vitals data, reports, alerts and an API. Features and limits depend on your plan and may evolve over time.

• You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
• You may only add sites you own or are authorized to track and may only connect Google properties you are authorized to access.

• New organizations receive a 14-day free trial of the full product. No payment method is required for the trial.
• When the trial ends without a subscription, the account locks: collection and premium features stop, but your data remains viewable and you can subscribe to resume.
• Payments are processed by Polar, our merchant of record. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled.
• You can cancel at any time from the billing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Plan limits (events, sites, team members, tracked keywords, crawl volume and backlink data) are described on the pricing page. We may throttle or pause processing that exceeds plan limits.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply from your next billing period.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. If you believe you were billed in error, contact us and we will review it.

• You own the data Numative collects and derives for your sites. We process it to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
• You can export your data from the product and delete sites or your account at any time.
• Your compliance is your responsibility. You are responsible for using Numative lawfully on your sites, including any privacy notices, disclosures or consents required where you operate. The tracker is designed to work without cookies or persistent identifiers, but only you can assess the rules that apply to your business.
• Do not send Numative data that directly identifies individuals (such as names, emails or precise locations) in URLs, event names or custom properties, and do not use it to collect sensitive categories of data.

You agree not to:

• Track websites without authorization, or use the service to violate any law or third-party right.
• Probe, disrupt or overload the service, circumvent usage limits or access controls, or scrape the service.
• Resell or white-label the service without our written consent. Sharing read-only dashboards with clients through the product's share links is allowed and encouraged.
• Send fabricated traffic or otherwise abuse the collection endpoints.

Parts of the product rely on third parties: Google APIs for the GA4, Search Console and Chrome UX Report integrations, DataForSEO for ranking and backlink data, and Ahrefs for Domain Rating. We do not control these services; their data may be delayed, revised or discontinued, and your use of connected Google accounts is also subject to Google's terms.

Numative, its software, design and documentation are our property or that of our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while you have an account in good standing. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.

You may stop using Numative and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, create risk for the service or other customers, or remain unpaid past the trial, with notice where practicable. After account deletion we delete your data within a reasonable period, except records we must keep for legal or billing purposes.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Analytics figures are careful estimates: bot filtering, cookieless counting, sampling by upstream providers and detection heuristics all involve judgment calls, and we do not warrant that any metric is exact or that every site change or traffic cause will be detected.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for all claims arising out of the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You will defend and indemnify Numative against claims arising from your sites, your use of the service in violation of these terms, or your violation of law, including claims that you tracked visitors without required notices or consents.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, and both parties consent to their jurisdiction.

We may update these terms as the service evolves. We will post changes here and update the effective date; for material changes we will notify account holders by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept them.
